Lakefront A-Frame: Sun Deck, Kayaks & Sauna

I’m not usually one for leaving reviews at all, especially ones that would reflect negatively on a product or service- but feel like I should let future tenants know about this property. The description lists that you are not allowed more than 4 cars at the property, it doesn’t mention that the only way you could possibly fit 4 cars is if they were golf carts. You will be lucky to fit 2 full size vehicles in the designated parking area. Cleanliness of the property would be generally acceptable as long as you don’t look at any of the vents, ceiling fans, or any other surfaces that dust would rest on, because they have clearly not been wiped down for some time. Almost all exterior surfaces on the back patios are covered in spider webs. Most of these issues could be resolved with a quick power washing. The most unfortunate part of the property is the deck. I am concerned how they are even able to advertise this deck as available for guests to use with the shape of it. PLEASE watch your step out here. There are hundreds of nails and screws with the heads protruding above the floor boards, even a few on the stairs that lead to the upper area. This unfortunately lead to one of my guests getting a significant cut on their big toe, bad enough where they are unable to wear a shoe for the foreseeable future. Many of these protruding nails and screws have paint UNDERNEATH the head, which shows me that they have been exposed for some time and the property owners chose to paint over them.
